Ultra clear glass is low iron float glass, also called extra clear glass, a kind of float glass with low iron content and with light transmittance 91% or more. The superior light transmission, clarity and distinctive edge is achieved through the use of sand with much lower iron oxide content being used in the batch mix when the glass is manufactured on a float line.

Ultra clear glass has the characteristics of low spontaneous breakages, high purity, more beautiful especially the jewel-like blue edge. is perfect for applications with exposed edges, particularly when thicker sheets are specified.

Ultra clear glass is increasingly specified for decorative features, partitions, stairs and handrails,balustrades,furniture, shower and bath enclosures, kitchens and backsplashes, showcases cases and displays, entrances and storefronts. Ultra clear glass supports virtually limitless decorative treatments, such as: Dichroic Glass, Digital Ceramic Printing, Acid-Etched Glass, Ceramic Frit and other applications

Greentec Glass offers ultra clear glass from 3mm to 22mm, with super jumbo sizes to 18000x3600mm.
